· Wow where to start, I found this gem while visiting the local area. The inside is very warm and cosy and beautifully decorated. The staff were so warm and went out of their way to make me feel welcome. No impersonal self-check-ins here people! My room was on the top floor and can only be described as a cosy little snug. Gorgeously decorated with pretty lighting and an illustration of a castle. The bed was decent and had a lovely tartan rug on top. I was delighted to see there was a pretty antique-looking writing desk and chair in the room with plenty of space to hang clothes and store bags. There is a nice bath in the bathroom and this is the first place I saw had a proper bath matt as well as a matt in front of the loo. No moving the thin little matt around with a foot in this bathroom! I loved the fact that I could open the window in both the bedroom and bathroom. Pleasant continental breakfast, and decent coffee. The evening meal I had here was scrumptious everything on their menu looked amazing. The dining room had so much ambience and music in the background was not over loud meaning people were still able to talk to each other. Parking right outside. Bravo! highly recommend. I ended up booking a second night. Would visit again.

Great little hotel with comfortable and quiet rooms. Food was excellent as was the Guinness. Staff were very friendly and helpful.

We travelled 110 miles to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary,I had hospital appointment on the 11sept,so looked for hotel near to it,the prices for 1 night was awful,so looked and found The Bennachie Lodge Hotel,we were amazed with our room,so my bother and his partener came upfrom Kemnay and we had supper,food was great.I had to get up and shower at 6.30,so apologies to anyone,we hope we did'nt disturb.Excellent staff,its a pleasure from the sterile hotels.Felt at home.My op went well but I would definately stay there again again.

A very attractive and pleasant hotel, with friendly, helpful staff and an excellent restaurant. I had a budget room so it was a little small (fair enough for the budget price), but very nice and very comfortable.

Un incantevole lodge nella campagna scozzese. Dotato di ristorante interno ed esterno, con giardino ed area giochi per bambini. Camera piccola ma confortevole, pulita e silenziosa. Letto matrimoniale spazioso e doccia larga. Dotato di tutti i comfort. Personale cortese e accogliente. Parcheggio esterno gratuito. Davvero una bella sistemazione.

D entrée la cadre autour de l'hôtel est très agréable avec un espace jardin très bien aménagé, une belle terrasse,... Le plus c est que l endroit est vivant avec des gens locaux je pense ! La chambre était très bien, confortable, grande, literie un peu mole mais bien. Nous avions choisi une chambre un peu spéciale pour la rigolade 😉 Un point vraiment à améliorer ce sont les sacs de linge sale qui traînent dans le couloir ! Pour ce qui est du restaurant la carte est très bien et nous avons très bien mangé. Le bilan est que le rapport qualité / prix est top compte tenu du petit déjeuner (très complet) inclu ! Merci PS. Je trouve juste étrange qu'il n'y ait pas de vrai espace réception pour l'hôtel.

Edit after respons: Very expensive parking lot. Wanted a good nights sleep and since we have been travelling in a build-in campervan, a hotel seemed the right step. It was hot, no airflow, super noisy till past 3 and the beds were very uncomfortable. We ended up sleeping in our van on the parking lot when we still couldn't get any shut eye at all. The information on our bookingsite seemed wrong, so better check and call in advance if you want to be sure. Do not recommend and will not come back. It is a shame, the staff is super friendly and kind and the vibe of the hotel is super sweet. I do come to a hotel to sleep. Not to enjoy the walls though.

Don’t often write reviews, but with recent changes to the lodge with the new all you can eat menus and the amazing changes to other menu items I felt the need to comment on it. Fantastic staff, great food, and cheap prices. It is a most go location when you don’t feel like cooking!

No cooked breakfast Monday to Friday, but the coffee was excellent. Kitchen closes at 7:30 for dinner. At least it did on a Tuesday night.

Hadn't been there for years and with a few changes in management tried again for a family meal. Sadly felt the food was not that great quality wise. The burgers appeared to be generic bulk buy burgers. The taste was lacking. Overall portion size Vs cost was not good value. Others in the group had other items which they did seem to like and the portions were better. I perhaps just made the mistake of ordering the burger option.

Nice room. Staff very helpful. Bathroom could do with abit of TLC. Rust on the radiator. Paint coming off the window frame. Bed a bit hard for me. Tho I know we are all different. I am only saying for me. Kettle. Coffee. Tea. Milk and sugar in the room. Ironing board and iron in the room tho no fan. Not many plug sockets in the room tho there was an extension lead there.

Great location, easy to get to. Easy to get to local amenities and places of interest. Well maintained and looked after. Note that not all rooms seem to have private bathrooms. (water pressure is great!) Seems like a large expanded, then converted house. Plenty of free parking.
